Core principle: The L.I.V. extension never transmits your private keys, seed phrases, or wallet credentials to any server. All cryptographic operations occur exclusively on your device.
L.I.V. (Ledger Identity Vault) is a Chrome browser extension that functions as a sovereign, local identity vault for the LIVON ecosystem. It allows users to manage Bsv-based digital assets, sign crypto challenges, and interact with L.I.V.-compatible websites to access exclusive post-nonce challenge content.
The extension collects NO personal data. Specifically:
The following data is stored exclusively in your browser's local storage (chrome.storage.local) and never leaves your device:
You can delete all locally stored data at any time by clicking the "Clear Vault" button inside the extension, or by uninstalling the extension.
The extension communicates with the following third-party APIs solely to retrieve public blockchain data associated with your address. No private key or sensitive data is ever transmitted:
These services have their own privacy policies which we encourage you to review.
The extension requests the following Chrome permissions:
All signing operations (ECDSA signature over BSV message format) are performed entirely within the browser using the bundled bsv.min.js library. Private keys are never sent to any external service. Signed messages (not keys) may be transmitted to websites you interact with as part of the authentication flow.
The L.I.V. extension is not directed at individuals under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect information from minors.
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. The effective date at the top of this page will reflect the most recent revision. Continued use of the extension after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
